National College of Pharmacy, Manassery and Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) jointly organize a national level Conference on ‘Recent Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences’ at National College of Pharmacy Seminar hall on Jan 19.
The two day conference will be inaugurated by Dr. Navas. K. M- CEO & Executive trustee- KMCT Group of Institutions. Dr. M.K. UnniKrishnan Principal-National College of Pharmacy will deliver the presidential address.
Plenary lectures, practical hands-on training in various analytical instruments, training in molecular docking and poster presentations are also to be conducted as part of the conference. Eminent pharma scientists, professors, and researchers will deliver plenary lectures on different topics related to pharma science.
Dr. Ramalingam P., Professor / Director R&D Division-Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (RIPER)- Anantapur - will speak on the topic Analytical Quality by Design approach for HPLC Method development.
A speech on “Multi target drugs- An Emerging trend” will be delivered by Dr. UnniKrishnan M.K., Principal-National College of Pharmacy. A talk on the topic Interpretation of Infrared spectra- A Practical Approach will be given by Dr. A. Rajasekaran [M. Pharm Ph.D], Principal-KMCH, College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore-48.
Dr. Suresh B. Vepuri [M.Pharm. PhD. PD], Honorary Researcher -School of Health Sciences, University of Kwazulu- Natal, Westville- Durban 4000- RSA- will address on the topic Molecular Informatics- from drug discovery to formulation
Mr. Rajesh G.- Deputy General Manager- Analytical R&D, Ordain Health Care Global Pvt. Limited Chennai and Dr.Bijo Mathew- Associate Professor- Department of Chemistry, Ahalia School of Pharmacy, Kerala will speak on the topics “Analytical Method Development and Validation of Pharmaceuticals according to ICH Guidelines” & “Structure Based Drug Design Using Auto dock4.2 Tools” respectively. The conference will be followed by interactive session.
“The conference will be useful for the budding pharmacists and researchers”, said one of the chief organizers Dr Akash Marathakam. The presence of more than 300 delegates comprising students, teachers, scientists, and researchers from across the state are expected to attend the national conference. The program will be concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. S. Kathirvel.
